Archbold United Methodist Church is known for its welcoming hospitality and "come as you are" atmosphere where you can engage with a friendly congregation that loves Jesus.  We believe in a triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and salvation through Jesus Christ, rooted deeply in Scripture and the Wesleyan tradition of grace and holiness of heart and life. We follow the example of Christ, seeking to be His disciples as we reach out beyond the walls of the AUMC sanctuary in mission and ministry. We strive to be the hands and feet of Christ so others might know the saving grace of Jesus as we work to build the Kingdom of God in our community and the world.

At Archbold United Methodist Church, our mission is to build authentic community where we grow in our relationship with God so that we can be empowered to live our lives in a way that brings others to Christ for the transformation of the world!


Our mission motto, “Love, Serve, Live,” refers to Jesus’ Great Commandment and also to the Great Commission: “Love God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself” and “Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”
