Traditional Service

Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30

At Archbold United Methodist Church, our Traditional Service follows the rich tradition of Christian worship with focus on prayers, hymns from the United Methodist Church Hymnal, scriptural reading, organ music, anthems by our Chancel Choir, our Applause Bell Choir, and by our Soloists. A meaningful and relevant sermon is offered and our aim is to bring the light and love of Christ into your life and family. All generations are invited to participate together. A Children’s message is presented and Middle-school Acolytes open the service with candle-lighting and Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month and at other special celebrations. Everyone in attendance is welcomed to receive the Sacrament. We also celebrate the sacrament of infant and adult Baptism.

Dress attire for the service is whatever is comfortable. You’ll see a variety of styles and preferences.

Child care is available in the Education wing for infants through age 4.

We have a Safe Sanctuaries Policy to help make our church campus a holy place of safety.
